Government to spend more on useless "state Waze"

The Transport Ministry has called a tender to upgrade and run the National System of Traffic Information. It plans to pay €7.6m over three years. (teraz.sk) Slovak Telekom launched this €14m “state Waze” in 2017 and has rarely updated maps and the app since then. The system still does not show the new Danube bridge on its maps and can’t work with the latest version of Android. It is very little used.
