Government “is somewhat late” in meeting its commitments to Volkswagen
The Slovak government promised to support the €500m investment of the Bratislava Volkswagen plant by assisting public transport, building 2,000 rental apartments, and creating a training center for automotive workers. The government, though, “is somewhat late” in meeting its commitments, says Sebastian Krapoth, the plant’s BoD member. Electric and hybrid models account for 23% of the plant’s output.
