Glortex expands its biodiesel business

Biodiesel producer Glortex (Juraj Farkaš and Stanislava Gálová) plans to expand its plant in Šenkvice to process used oils, mainly cooking oils. It will increase production by 50,000 tons a year and will have "the most advanced biodiesel plant in Europe". In 2019-22, it increased sales more than 10-fold to €271m and reported a net profit of €10.5m for 2022.
