French group Engie is selling its business in Slovakia as it shifts focus to more promising markets, sources told seznamzpravy.cz. The sale covers several entities operating heating plants, distribution networks, and facility management across the country: Engie Services, Prvá ružinovská spoločnosť, Račianska teplárenská, LMT, TH Moldava, Termming, and Energy Distribution. UniCredit Bank is advising on the sale and has already received offers. The price is expected to range from tens to hundreds of millions of euros. Potential interested parties reportedly include EPH, KKCG, ČEZ, UCED, InfraVia, Cube, and Macquarie.
