Five bids for armored vehicles for the Slovak Army
Five countries―Czechia, Finland, Romania, Spain, and the USA―submitted offers for 8x8 armored vehicles for the Slovak Army, the Defense Ministry announced. It expects to pay €332m for 76 vehicles. Price will account for 35% when it comes to evaluating bids and the share of local parts for 25%. (sme.sk) Defense Minister Jaroslav Naď (OĽaNO) expected eight bids. The Czechs are offering a vehicle called Pandur, the Finns a Patria, USA a Stryker and Romania as well as Spain the Piranha vehicle.
