EETS already accounts for 55% of toll collection in Slovakia

The European Electronic Toll Service (EETS), available in Slovakia since March 2024, already accounts for 55% of toll collection, says highway authority NDS. Based on kilometers driven, the service is most used by Slovak (34%), Polish (21%), and Romanian (12%) carriers. EETS is operated by SkyToll, which also runs traditional toll collection, along with Italy’s Telepass, Germany’s Toll4Europe, and Czech Eurowag.
