Doprastav remained the largest construction firm last year despite a 17% drop in sales to €217m. Strabag (€197m) and Eurovia (€188m) followed. Companies cited poor project preparation by the state and municipalities, along with weaker demand in the real estate market, as key drivers of the revenue decline. Legislative changes to building permits prompted the postponement of several projects. Eurovia posted the highest net profit last year at €8.5m, followed by Doprastav (€8.1m) and Skanska (€4.7m).
