Banks keep increasing profits

Banks increased their net profit by 8% annually to €138m in the first quarter, the central bank NBS reported. After years of declines, banks were able to increase their net interest revenue by 2% to €408m as the volume of loans as well as interest rates rose. Net fee revenue rose 17% to €180m.
