Another ex-minister charged with corruption

Police charged Gábor Gál (Most-Híd), an ex-Justice Minister, with bribery. In return for a €50,000 bribe from Martin Kvietik, he allegedly promised to unblock a land restitution through SPF, the state land fund, in 2018. Gál denies any wrongdoing. In the past, he provided legal services to companies suspected of tax evasion in the fuel trade.
