AeroMobil (Patrick Hessel), which is developing a flying car, flew its latest prototype for the first time in August. It is working on its certification and hopes to deliver its first car to clients in 2022. So far, it has invested €24m (of which €8.8m was provided by the Slovak government) and needs another €15m to complete the certification and launch production. Its finances are in a precarious condition, as it owes €0.2m in payroll levies.
