Adient is hiring in Slovakia

Automotive supplier Adient is hiring in its product development center in Trenčín as well as in its shared service center in Bratislava, as the centers are taking over projects from elsewhere in Europe. Recently, Adient announced job cuts and a shift of production to lower cost countries, without giving details. It is closing two plants in Czechia, axing 1,100 jobs. In Slovakia, it employs 2,800, mainly in its two production plants in Lučenec and Zilina. In Slovakia, Adient increased net profit by 18% to €1.6m and sales by 12% to €356.5m last year.
