PMÚ, the anti-trust authority, has fined five companies a total of €360,000 for forming a cartel in public procurement in the field of robotics. In addition to four companies that coordinated their bids, the investor—who knowingly helped rig the tender—was also fined. Two of the bidders admitted their involvement and received lighter penalties. The decision may be appealed.
