PPS only laid off 62 people

Swedish company Epiroc, which buys 40% of the output of machinery firm PPS Group Detva (Daniel Futej), decided not to move production to India and strengthen ties with CEE suppliers including the PPS Group instead. PPS was forced to halve production during the pandemic and warned it might axe 740 jobs. Now, it won new contracts from Epiroc, as well as from Bomag, Komatsu and Caterpillar. It only let 62 workers go.
