Swiss Life, a Swiss-based financial broker, wants to keep expanding in Slovakia after it acquired Fincentrum, the country’s 5th-largest financial broker, two years ago. It will hire more agents and seeks acquisition targets, too. Last year, Fincentrum managed to double its net profit to €1.3m and its sales rose 20% to €15.9m.
In 2016, its then CEO Milan Repka left Fincentrum to set up his own company, Brokeria, which reported €11.5m sales last year.
