No demand for Eastring pipeline

The demand for gas transit via the planned Eastring gas pipeline “is not large at present,” admitted eustream, controlled by EPH (Daniel Křetínský). Despite the “absence of binding demand,” eustream is still working on the pipeline from Turkey to Eastern Slovakia, as it believes in its long-term viability. The EU has recently removed the €1.5bn pipeline from its list of priority infrastructure projects.
