Prices of more expensive apartments will fall by 20%, predicts Sulík

The prices of more expensive apartments will fall by 20% and will return to their current levels in 1-2 years, predicts Economy Minister Richard Sulík (SaS). He recommends purchasing real estate in 2-3 months. It comes as no surprise that developers say they do not expect prices to fall. After the 2008 recession, housing prices kept falling until 2012 and began to rise only in 2016. Residential projects under construction have already sold most of the apartments and will not reduce prices. Also, the market is dominated by large developers in good financial shape that need not unload apartments at fire sale prices.
