Samsung is not leaving Slovakia

South Korean Samsung Electronics wants to strengthen its investment in Slovakia, said Economy Minister Peter Žiga after meeting its management in South Korea. Last spring, Samsung closed one of its two LCD screen plants in Slovakia.

Žiga also met the management of the Hyundai/Kia car maker and repeated that the Slovak government is willing to support its investments into research and production of electric cars.
