Jaguar Land Rover is launching production in Nitra on September 3

Jaguar Land Rover announced to local authorities it is launching production in its new plant in Nitra on September 3. It declined to confirm the date officially, though. Test production is already underway, and assembly will ramp up only gradually after September. The plant will make the Land Rover Discovery SUV model and in 2020, it aims to have double its current workforce (1,400) and production capacity (150,000 cars annually).
