Police arrested Marián Kočner

The police arrested Marián Kočner on suspicion of forging bills of exchange and using them to claim €42m from TV Markíza. Previously, Kočner’s contacts to police, prosecutors, and judges gave him impunity. He was not tried for tax fraud related to the sale of apartments in Bratislava, hotels in Donovaly and golf course near Bratislava; theft of apartments in Bernolákovo and office building Technopol; and engagement in the Pezinok waste dump.
