Saab is offering 500 jobs in return for purchasing Gripens
Swedish company Saab offered to create 500 new jobs in Slovakia in its Gripen Support Center if Slovakia opts for its Gripen fighter jets to replace the old Russian MiG planes. Defense Minister Peter Gajdoš (SNS) has apparently already decided in favor of the U.S. F-16 jets (Lockheed). The Americans are not offering any such offset programs, and point out that the programs will in fact increase the price of the planes.
