Kiska likely to win, but unlikely to run
Some 43% of Slovaks want incumbent Andrej Kiska to serve another term in 2019-24, according to a Focus agency poll for the N daily. The same share reject him. The poll did not ask about other candidates, but it seems Kiska will win the presidential election if he takes part. He has been the most popular politician since 2014. He is yet to declare; the media speculate he will not run. Coalition as well as opposition parties are waiting for Kiska to declare before they put forward their candidates.
