The state-run rail infrastructure administrator Železnice SR is still trying to exclude Kazakh company Integra from its €305m tender to renovate the rail tracks between Bratislava and Czech borders. It still doubts the company’s references, despite the public procurement authority ÚVO already upholding them. Local construction firms apparently go to great lengths to prevent the entry of cheaper competitor. It seems likely the ÚVO will have to assess the references again, delaying the project further. The tender was called 14 months ago.
