Large projects will be delayed
If the coalition agrees on an early election, the government would most likely stop large projects, leaving them to its successor. An early election would delay the reform of building permits, debt amnesty, and ending subsidies for coal mining in Prievidza. The government might also freeze the €420m purchase of military transporters, leasing of new jets, and purchase of military radar. Reforming the rules for selecting Constitutional Court judges and for providing subsidies for building savings would be put on hold. The €305m tender to renovate rail tracks to Czech border should be completed, however.
