Star journalists leaving TV Markíza

Following last year’s exit of Michal Kovačič and the recent departure of Viktor Vincze, another star journalist, Gabriela Kajtárová, is leaving TV Markíza. Several other journalists are also leaving the newsroom. All responded to pressure from management to focus less on politics and be less openly critical of the current coalition. Management argued that it was trying to adapt to viewers’ preferences.
