€136m slovensko.sk portal upgrade more transparent

The IT Ministry first ordered the eGovernment agency Nases to cancel ten tenders worth €136m for the modernization of the slovensko.sk portal and then submitted the project to the Value for Money Unit for review. It thus bowed to pressure from activists and the media, who criticized the project for its lack of transparency. It has not commented on whether it intends to give the project directly to the current operator of the portal, GlobalTel (Ondriš brothers).
