ŽOS Vrútky is undergoing a major renewal

ŽOS Vrútky, where Optifin Invest (Alexej Beljajev and Michal Lazar) and Budamar (Tomáš Chrenek) have held a majority stake since February, is undergoing a major renewal. In 2016-19, it reported a €25m loss but expects a profit for 2020. It is investing €3.5m into its heating system to get rid of coal, and EU funds cover half of that. It is buying new technologies for train repairs as well as the SAP system. It employs almost a thousand people.
