Zeocem expands
Zeocem, one of the world’s largest zeolite producers owned by Czech-Austrian CTR and Austrian Glock Health, is planning to double its mining capacity to 400,000 tons annually near Vranov nad Topľou. Zeolite is used in construction, manufacturing, and farming. It would not disclose its investment volume. It employs 200 people, and in 2009-19, it increased sales from €8m to €23m. It has been in the black and its 2019 net profit topped €1.9m.
