Vladimír Levársky again sole owner of OMS, Kmotrík sold him his stake
Vladimír Levársky once again became the sole owner of smart lighting solution provider OMS. He founded it in 1995 and in 2014 it had sales of over €70m. But in 2016-22 it lost €22m and sales fell to €10m. Less than 100 of the original 1,000-plus employees remain. In 2017, Ivan Kmotrík acquired a 70% stake and stabilized it financially. Now Kmotrík is selling his stake back to Levársky at a loss. Levársky wants to get the company back on track; last year, it already made a slight profit thanks to the sale of assets. He believes in the demand for quality lighting produced in Europe and is investing in R&D. A Chinese interior decorative lighting fixture maker has recently launched production on the company's premises.
