U.S. Steel Košice is returning to normal working schedules as of October 1. Last May, it imposed shorter work weeks due to low demand. Now, it will even extend working hours from 35.5 to 37.5 hours weekly in some facilities. It will still leave idle one of the three blast furnaces it closed last summer.
