The Health Ministry wants to set up a state-owned drug distributor

The Health Ministry sent for comments a plan to set up a state-owned drug distributor mainly serving state hospitals and pharmacies. It wants to prevent the dominance of several large private distributors (the three largest players control 85% of the market) and be able to deal with crisis situations. It also wants to build an automated drug preparation center for state hospitals.
