British retailer Tesco is considering selling its Central European operations, including in Slovakia, the Financial Times reports. The move would see the company refocus on its domestic market after 30 years of trying to build a global empire. It employs 22,000 people and operates 561 stores across Slovakia, Czechia, and Hungary. These three countries generated an operating profit of just £115m last year, while the group's total was £3.2bn.
