synlab leaving Slovakia

Anti-trust authority PMÚ is reviewing the acquisition of laboratory operator synlab by competitor Unilabs. (antimon.gov.sk) Unilabs, with Danish capital, tripled its Slovak loss to €15.8m in 2024 while revenue grew 2% to €81.5m. synlab, under German ownership, saw its Slovak profit fall 49% to €0.5m in 2024 after revenue rose 2% to €16.5m.
