Swedish digital services provider group.one acquired Webglobe

Swedish digital services provider group.one acquired Webglobe, No.2 on the Slovak web hosting market. The company was sold by founder Igor Strečko and investment group Sandberg (Martin Fedor), which entered the company in 2019. The annual revenue of group.one reaches €300m, which is 100 times the revenue of Webglobe. The goal of the new owner is further expansion in the CEE market.

Another Swedish company, Loopia, acquired the Slovak web hosting leader Websupport from Michal Truban in 2019.
