Slovakia has lowest wages in V4

Slovakia has the lowest wages in the V4 region, according to a study by Mazars, a consultancy. Last year it stood at €1,185, compared to €1,533 in Czechia, €1,369 in Hungary and €1,301 in Poland. Western Europe still enjoys much higher wage level, €4,130 in Germany and €3,818 in Austria. The statistics office ŠÚ put Slovakia’s average wage at €1,211 last year.
