Schindler expands in Dunajská Streda
The Dunajská Streda plant of Swiss lift maker Schindler managed to increase sales by 83% to €181m last year and its net profit jumped to €13m. It increased its workforce by 170 to 500 in 2020-21. The plant started in 2012 with the production of elevator cars, in 2019 it added shaft components and last year it added safety elements. This year, sales are expected to rise to €210mm.
