Sandberg Capital has completed the sale of its 50% stake in Swan
Slovak private equity group Sandberg Capital (Martin Fedor) has completed the sale of its 50% stake in telecom operator Swan to the Ondriš brothers. This is its first exit from a major investment and its yield was 20% p.a. The value of the transaction was not disclosed. A merger of Swan and Swan Mobile (mobile operator 4ka) will follow; the planned date is the turn of the years 2021-22. The brothers funded the buy-out by a loan taken from Tatra banka, ČSOB, SLSP and Komerční banka. They will use part of the €177m loan to refinance part of a loan used to acquire its competitor Benestra.
