Residential real estate prices rose only 1.6% under a quarterly comparison in the third quarter, the slowest quarterly pace since 2019, reported the central bank NBS that monitors ad prices. Prices are up by 21.9% annually, standing at €2,714 per sqm. The highest quarterly growth is in Prešov (7.4%), while prices in Trnava and Banská Bystrica fell slightly. (trend.sk) Analysts predict that in the coming quarters, prices may fall slightly under a quarterly comparison. Uncertainty over economic outlook, high inflation, unaffordable and expensive mortgages, and high real estate prices are dampening demand. The prices of lower-quality real estate will fall the most.
