Porsche to produce li-ion battery modules for electric cars in Slovakia

German car maker Porsche is launching the second part of its €200m project in Horná Streda. Originally, it wanted to produce car bodies there, but eventually decided to produce li-ion battery modules for electric cars. It wants to start production at the end of 2024. The first phase of the project was a €14m Automation and Robotics Center that develops automated production lines.
