Police proposed charging ex-minister Gábor Gál with corruption
Police have proposed charging ex-minister Gábor Gál with corruption. Lawyer Ján Gajan testified that Gál was handed a €50,000 bribe in his MP office in 2018 just before he became Justice Minister for the Most-Híd party. The bribe was supposed to come from ’commissions’ Martin Kvietik collected in return for rigging land lease decisions of the state land fund SPF. Gál denies any wrongdoing.
