Permitting delays cost Slovakia €105m Chinese aerospace investment

Chinese aircraft engine component maker Guizhou Aviation TD will make its planned €105m investment in a new 330-employee plant in Morocco rather than in Košice, its original choice. The project will also include a product development center. The company cited Slovakia's lengthy permitting process. Morocco also offers an aerospace base of 160 firms employing 25,000 people.
