Penta has abandoned its plan to seek a strategic partner for its hospital chain. It announced the plan to sell a stake in its hospitals in Slovakia, Czechia and Poland two years ago. It has received five bids and two of them have offered valuations at double-digit multiples of EBITDA. Since they were not strategic investors with specific know-how, Penta decided to develop its hospital chain itself, without a partner.
