Patrik Tkáč is increasing his stake in EPH

Patrik Tkáč (J&T) will get a 44% stake in EPH, in which Daniel Křetínský has a 94% stake (the rest is owned by managers). In 2016, Tkáč was to sell his 37% stake in EPH to Křetínský for €2.7bn, but it seems the financial settlement has never been completed. Křetínský will keep managerial powers in EPH that controls eustream, SE and SSE, among other companies, in Slovakia. EP Corporate Group will be formed as an umbrella over EPH and other companies, with Křetínský holding 89% and managers the rest. It will focus on energy, e-commerce and media. It will also include the investments of Křetínský (56%) and Tkáč (44%) into the stock of Metro, Royal Mail, Foot Locker, Casino group, Sainsbury‘s and Pro Sieben Sat1.
