Out-of-service energy infrastructure in the Humenné industrial park threatens 300 jobs, warn the labor unions of Nexis Fibers and Tytex. The park’s former owner, Chemes, ceased operations due to long-term financial issues. The current owner, Priemyselný park Chemes (also controlled by Ján Molnár), has failed to comply with a regulator ÚRSO’s order to transfer the infrastructure to state-owned MH Teplárenský holding by March 29. The park currently has no energy supply except for electricity. Nexis Fibers was forced to halt production three weeks ago and may go out of business.
