Mobis, an automotive supplier and part of the Hyundai Group, plans to begin producing printed circuit boards for electronic systems. The unspecified investment will create 100 jobs. Mobis is building a new hall for brakes and airbags next to the Kia plant in Žilina and recently completed a new factory for electric‑vehicle components in Nováky. These two projects, worth €240m, will create 600 jobs. Once all three investments are completed, the workforce will rise to 2,800. In 2024, Mobis reported €2bn in sales and €77m in net profit in Slovakia.
