Minebea is investing in Košice

The Košice plant of the Japanese automotive supplier Minebea will invest €10m in painting technology and create 75 jobs. The plant manufactures security locks and saw its workforce drop by 500 to 1,100 during the pandemic. It supplies Renault and Stellantis and is looking to win contracts for Volkswagen, Audi and Volvo with the investment.
