Justice Ministry wants to build business register IT system on its own

Justice Minister Mária Kolíková (Za ľudí) canceled a €20.8m tender for a new business register IT system at the end of last year and decided the ministry will build the system itself. The tender was won by Emm and Novitech Tax, but the ministry did not sign a contract with them. Kolíková is setting up a new development center at her ministry with an annual budget of €2-3m and 20-30 people. The new system will run the orsr.sk site, electronic Collection of Documents, and secure electronic communication with businesspeople and public administration. The development center will also build a new IT system for courts.
