The Slovak food delivery market is growing rapidly, with high competition leading to losses or low profits for providers. Foodora lost €0.1m on €12.4m sales last year and decided to leave Slovakia this year. It reported an €8.9m loss here in 2022. Bistro.sk lost €0.2m on €9.3m sales last year. It offers the most restaurants on the market and operates in the largest number of locations. Wolt provides services in 80 cities, cooperates with Coop Jednota and Billa, and last year posted a net profit of €0.1m, with sales rising by a quarter to €25m.
