Isadore raised €1.6m from investors

Isadore, a cycling clothing maker owned by the Velits bothers, raised €1.6m from investors via the Crowdberry investment platform at the end of last year. Demand was €1.9-2.2m. This was its second investment round and it raised €1.2m in the first one two years ago. It will use the money for marketing to expand the brand globally. Last year, its sales jumped 40% to €4m and it plans a 50% growth this year. German-speaking countries account for 45% of sales. It sells mainly through its online store but also via 30 brick-and-mortar stores around the world. Decathlon sells its premium clothing in Belgium, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
