InoBat gets ready for battery production

InoBat (Marian Boček) is installing technology at its Voderady plant for small-scale production of electric cars batteries. It plans to launch production this autumn and has so far invested €40m. It also wants to build a large-scale battery production plant next door, to launch production in 2025, but is still seeking funding for the €140m investment. It has previously reported plans to build a large factory in Košice, Serbia or Spain, but the current target is Voderady. It already has contracts totaling €575m with Germany's Lilium, which is developing an electric aircraft, and Polish firm Impact Clean Power Technology.
