InoBat Auto is speeding up its electric car battery production plans
InoBat Auto (Marian Boček) is speeding up its electric car battery production plans and will not only build a €60m development and testing center with 100 engineers in Voderady but also a €140m production facility with 400 employees. It still plans to build a €1bn production plant in Eastern Slovakia later. The production facility in Voderady will have an annual production capacity of 4 GWh of batteries after completion in mid-2024.
InoBat’s investors include Rio Tinto, Amara Raja, Ideanomics Mobility, ČEZ, Matador and MSM Group. A World Bank’s fund promised to invest, too.
